Watchskins Ultra Care Instructions & Aftercare Guide

Thank you for protecting your watch with Watchskins Ultra.

Watchskins Ultra is custom cut from 3M Premium TPU Film with USA laser technology and applied in-house at our service centre. Follow the care instructions below to keep it performing and looking its best.

What to Expect After Installation

• Adhesion Period:
  The film takes 24 to 48 hours to adhere, and 7 days to completely dry. Minor bubbles or haze may be visible in the first 2 days. They typically settle on their own. Leave your watch in a cool, dry place and let it air dry naturally.
• Clarity:
  Our Watchskins Ultra Protection Film is designed to be nearly invisible once dry. If bubbles persist beyond 3 days, contact us for an inspection and we will put it right.
• Keep it Dry for the First 7 Days:
  Avoid contact with water, soap or chemicals until the film has completely dried. Take your watch off before showering or washing up.

Daily Care Tips

• Avoid Direct Heat :
  Minimise contact with intense heat sources, like BBQs or hotpots.
• Prevent Color Transfer from Wet Clothing :
  Avoid wearing your watch with wet long sleeves. Moisture can cause colours to transfer onto the film.
• Storage :
  Avoid dark-coloured pouches, which can cause colour transfer at the film’s edges.
• Rinse and Pat Dry :
  After the first 7 days, rinse gently and pat dry with the light-coloured cloth provided. Avoid wiping, which can push particles to the edges of the film.

What NOT to Do

• Do not peel or lift the film once applied.
• Do not attempt to reapply the film after removal.
• Do not use alcohol swabs or polish on the surface.
• Do not wash your watch within 7 days of installation.

Your 2-Year Warranty

Every Watchskins installed from 1 July 2026 comes with a 2-year warranty at no extra cost. Peeling, lifting and yellowing are covered for the full 2 years.

Installations completed before 1 July 2026 remain covered under their original 12-month warranty from the installation date.

When to Replace Your Film

Consider a fresh installation if:

• The film becomes visibly worn.
• You are sending your watch for servicing.

If you notice peeling, edge lift or yellowing, contact us. It is covered under your warranty.
